Some commands available once you are connected (all IRC commands begin with a forward slash, "/"):

• /nick [nickname] - changes your nickname
• /whois [nickname] - shows user information for specified nickname
• /msg [nickname] [text] - send a private message to specified nickname
• /me [text] - performs an action
